Traditional German Bock. Maibock. Doppelbock. Eisbock. Whew! The Bock Beer category runs a gamut of colors and flavors. But these lagers all have several unique characteristics that distinguish them as Bock Beers including sweet, malty flavor and relatively low hop bitterness. A great addition to any tap room or bar, Bock Beers are popular year 'round!
Alpinator (Doppelbock)—(5 U.S. Gallons) (Extract & Grain)
A rich maltiness will dominate your palette when you taste this doppelbock. The recipe is balanced by an unmistakable alcohol presence achieved with a Zurich Lager Yeast.
Bock Beer—(This will yield a 5bbl batch on a 7bbl system due to mash tun size restraint.) Deep amber colored, rich and malty strong lager.
Maltinator Dopplebock—(5 U.S. Gallons) (Extract and Grain)
This uber malty Dopplebock is based on the Oktoberfest beer style. Rich, warm, malty and toasty. Perfect for cool weather. Enjoy some in the spring and again in Oktober!
Munich Madness Bock—(5 U.S. Gallons) (Extract & Grain)
Steeping caramel and chocolate malts adds just the right touch of deep flavor to this rich and malty traditional German lager.
