Recipes - using Wheat Malt
When it comes to brewing Wheat Beers, there's probably as many styles to brew as there are brew kettles in the world. Wheat Beers run the gamut from crisp, clear German-Style Kolsch to traditional hazy Hefeweizens to the clear, light flavored American-Style Wheat. The choice is yours!
American Dark Wheat—(5bbl)
The exceptionally smooth, subtle caramel notes of Caracrystal® Wheat malt really shine through in this lightly hopped American style wheat beer. Recipe developed by Kevin Eichelberger, Red Eye Brewing Co., Wausau, Wis.
Belgian Ale LA—(5bbl)
The smooth flavor of the Caracrystal® Wheat Malt really comes through in this surprisingly low alcohol Belgian Ale.
Belgian Golden Strong Ale—(5 U.S. Gallons) (Extract & Grain)
