2008 Craft Brewers Conference - San Diego

The San Diego brewing community rolled out the red carpet when the Craft Brewers Conference descended upon its city April 16-19, 2008. Thanks to the Brewers Association, the San Diego Brewers Guild and the host of other organizations and individuals who work hard to put on a fantastic event. Once again Briess and HopUnion were proud to sponsor the Welcome Reception held at the awesome Stone Brewing Company. A special thanks to Matt Walsh and the crew at Karl Strauss Brewing Company for brewing a special beer for Briess, Briess Best Bitter, which was served throughout the conference. Also for throwing a great Friday night party at their place. For the first time Briess sponsored a Beer Station at the BrewExpo. That was cool. Thanks to everyone who came to the Welcome Reception and stopped by our booth at the BrewExpo. Briess is so proud to be part of the exciting Craft Brewing Industry. Now our sights are set on Boston where the CBC will be held in 2009. In the meantime, cheers and happy brewing from the entire team at Briess!
