A traditional farmhouse yeast strain is paired with Brettanomyces to create a complex flavor profile with a moderate level of sourness in this Belgian Farmhouse Ale.

Ingredients

6.6 lbs - CBW® Golden Light LME
1 lb - CBW® Sparkling Amber DME
0.75 lb - Sugar (Cane)
1 oz - Sterling (7.0% AA hop) - 60 min boil
0.5 oz - Northern Brewer (8.0% AA hop) - 10 min boil
2 vials - WLP670 American Farmhouse Blend
1 capsule - Servomyces Yeast Nutrient

Directions

Bring water to a boil
Remove from heat, add extract, sugar, and first hop addition
Boil 50 minutes, add final hop addition
Boil 10 minutes
Cool to 72ºF, oxygenate wort
Pitch 1.5 vials WLP670 American Farmhouse Blend
