American Dark Wheat
The exceptionally smooth, subtle caramel notes of the Caracrystal® Wheat Malt really shine through in this lightly hopped American style wheat beer. Recipe developed by Kevin Eichelberger, Red Eye Brewing Co., Wausau, Wisconsin, summer 2009.

Ingredients

69.4% - Pilsen Malt
18.7% - Caracrystal® Wheat Malt
10.9% - Wheat Malt, Red
1% - Dark Chocolate Malt
- Columbus Hops (13.9% AA) - Boil 60 minutes
0.5 oz - Cascade Hops (7.6% AA) - Boil 20 minutes

Directions

Mash at 149ºF
Add Dark Chocolate Malt at lauter to achieve color without flavor
