Carabrown® Porter
This Porter is crafted with Carabrown® Malt. It lends a unique slightly sweet and toasted flavor.

Ingredients

8 lbs - Pale Ale Malt
1 lb - Carabrown® Malt
1 lb - Caramel Malt 40L
4 oz - Chocolate Malt
1 oz - East Kent Goldings (5% AA) - Boil 60 minutes
0.5 oz - East Kent Goldings (5% AA) - Boil 15 minutes
2 vials - WLP023 Burton Ale Yeast
1 capsule - Servomyces Yeast Nutrient - Boil 10 minutes

Directions

Mash at 154-156ºF for 45 minutes
Sparge at 170ºF
Knock out at 65ºF
Oxygenate highly
Cool to 72ºF
Oxygenate and pitch yeast
