Goldpils® Vienna Malt adds a complimentary maltiness to this variation of a traditional Heffeweizen.

Ingredients

5 lbs - Wheat Malt, Red
5 lbs - Goldpils® Vienna Malt
1.5 oz - Hersbrucker (3.0% AA hop) - 60 minute boil
0.5 oz - Hersbrucker (3.0% AA hop) - 10 minute boil
1 vial - WLP351 Bavarian Weizen Yeast
1 capsule - Servomyces Yeast Nutrient - 10 minute boil

Directions

Mash grains at 108ºF for 10 minutes
Slowly bring temperature to 148ºF
Mash at 148ºF for 30-45 minutes
Heat to 170ºF
Lauter
Boil with bittering hops for 60 minutes
Cool to 68ºF, oxygenate wort
Pitch 1 vial WLP351 Bavarian Weizen Yeast
