Goldpils Vienna Bock
This Bock recipe features Goldpils Vienna Malt, a rich base malt that offers complexity and depth with a toasted note at the finish.


12.5 lbs - Goldpils® Vienna Malt - Mash Grain
0.6 oz - Magnum Hops (14.0% AAU)/ - 60 minute boil
2 packs - WLP833 German Bock Lager Yeast (plus 1/4 pack for bottle conditioning - Fermenter


Mash crushed grains in 4.0 gallons of water at 150-153°F for 60 minutes
Sparge grain with 170°F water to obtain desired pre-boil kettle volume
Bring to boil
Add 0.6 oz Magnum Hops
Boil for 60 minutes
Turn heat off and cool wort to 54°F
Transfer to fermenter
Pitch two packs of WLP833 German Bock Lager Yeast
