Kolsch
Easy to drink and easy to brew this German-style ale utilizes German/Kolsch ale yeast to produce a crisp, clean lager-like character.

Ingredients

6.6 lbs - CBW® Pilsen Light LME - 60 min boil
1.5 oz - Hersbrucker hops (4.3.0% AAU) - 60 min boil
0.5 oz - Hersbrucker hops (4.3.0% AAU) - 15 min boil
1 pack - WLP029 German/Kolsch Ale Yeast - Fermenter

Directions

Dissolve extracts in warm water
Bring to boil
Add 1.5 oz Hersbrucker hops
Boil for 45 minutes
Add 0.5 oz Hersbrucker hops
Boil for 15 minutes
Turn off heat and cool wort to 66°F
Transfer to fermenter
Pitch one pack of WLP029 German/Kolsch Ale Yeast
