Bob Hansen will present on Friday, June 28, at 11:30 am on Gluten-Free Brewing and how homebrewers can revolutionize this niche market. Bob is a scientist and professional brewer, and has managed the Briess Technical Services department for the past dozen years. During that time one of his accomplishments included the development of a unique gluten-free syrup for the commercial production of gluten-free beer. Since then his research has included new ingredients that offer hope for brewing more flavorful and creative gluten-free beers.

Rich Ellis will join Dick Cantwell’s five-member panel on Saturday, June 29, at 11:30 am on Going Pro. These craft beer industry experts will tackle sourcing ingredients and formulating hop contracts to acquiring equipment and more. Rich is also a scientist and professional brewer on the Briess staff. He’s been lending his brewing expertise to craft breweries on the eastern side of the U.S. for the past three years as a Division Manager.

If you’re among the lucky 3,000+ homebrewers who nabbed tickets to this year’s sold-out event, we hope you’ll attend these two sessions. Also, congrats to the AHA on assembling an incredible lineup of speakers and topics for the conference.  Oh, and don’t forget to stop by the Briess display in the Homebrew Expo. Bob and Rich will be spending time there whenever possible to chat and answer questions. Enjoy the conference and cheers to homebrewing…now legal in all 50 states!
