It was a great turnout at the 29th Edition of the  Great Taste of  the Midwest this past weekend in Madison, WI. Sponsored by The Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild, the event offered 1,000 craft beers to sample from almost 200 breweries throughout the Midwests.  Hundreds of volunteers from across the Midwest made this event possible, and their hospitality efforts showed with a turnout of over 8,000 attendees. The Madison Homebrewers and Tasters Guild is a nonprofit organization, located in Madison Wisconsin, which was created “to aid and educate members in the appreciation and legal production of fermented malt beverages, including those brewed at home and those brewed commercially.”  If you missed this year’s event, mark your calendars, as the 30th Edition of the Great Taste of the Midwest will be AUGUST 13, 2016.
